So, WOW.
I don't think I have any other word to describe Toronto. I don't know what I was expecting, but certainly not that. Toronto is HUGE. I thought I lived in a big city, but Toronto is much, much more big. The tour guide I spoke with said 1 million more people than Montreal, plus the tourists. Big.
And Toronto is a fairly new city, compared to Montreal. The parts I've visited, anyway. Lots of new constructions, lots of building under construction, too. Oh, and a fun fact: Toronto has the biggest condominium market in North America. lol
This one's for you,
bnleah. I hope it reminds you of fun time, lol. It was taken on the first night we got there. We took a walk by Lake Ontario, which was beautiful.

Same night, those condominium I was telling you about. Still by the lake.

Taxi boat! I thought they only existed in Sydney, but no, looks like Toronto has some, too.

Okay, so I am a sucker for sail boats, and there were two beautiful baby, and I took maybe 10 pictures of each. Just, wow. Oh, and there was that big kind-of-Pirates cruise boat. Really cool.

One thing I liked a lot, too, is that you can find beautiful houses like this one, 10 minutes out of downtown, Toronto.

Tour bus = sunburn! But totally fun. I'm not going to picspam you that, but it was a 2-hour ride, where you could get off the bus and take the next one that came 30 minutes later, if you wanted to see/visit something. We didn't have enough time ahead of us, so we didn't get off the bus. But it was a lot of fun.

Another thing I like: buildings! (as if you hadn't realized that, already, lol!) This one was pretty cool!

TTC! I am so glad Montreal has finally decided to bring them back! (well, it's going to take 10 years, but whatever, lol)

What about John Mayer?
Oh, my God. He simply blew me away. People can say whatever they want about him (the media, I mean), but the guy is so generous on stage, it's amazing. I have a little picspam too, but here's the setlist:
Vultures
Waiting on the world to change
Clarity
Crossroads
Wheel
Bigger than my body
Ain't Nobody's Bizness
Belief
Daughters '74
No Such thing
Why Georgia
Gravity
Then he came back on stage and did a medley of:
LA Song
Something's Missing
Never Tear us apart
Free Falling
Say

Oh, there were Brett Dennen and Colbie Caillat that opened for JM. I was in heaven!! :D

That's it! Sorry if I bored you to death, but I had to share my adventures!

Toronto looks great. And apparently the weather was fine! And the sailboats are awesome, lol.
Nice pics of the concert, too. Glad you had fun on your trip!
The weather was more than fine! Real hot, sunny, beautiful! So, I got a sunburn, but it's okay. I needed some color anyway, lol.
Looks like DCook and JM have a way of showing off their guitar, heh? lol
Beaaaaaaaaaatiful photos btw!!
*hugs you*
Believe it or not but missed you. :)
I missed my flist, too. But it was fun to have stuff to catch up on. I don't know what I would have done, if I had been away from my computer any longer. I have this weird fear that if I bring my laptop with me on vacation, something will happen to it.
Right. Remind me to never travel with you, lol!
;)lol
Glad to be back! And to a TT chapter, nonetheless! *grins*
Toronto was fabulous! I'm so glad I went. And I hope to go back soon!
*eyes Maroon 5's tickets that are for sale on ticketmaster, for august 19th*
Your pictures look great, and I'm glad you had such a good time at your concert. I am not a John Mayar fan (I have no idea why), but it looked like it was a lot of fun!
I had a lot of fun, thank you. And the concert was amazing. So, you're sick, heh? :( I'm glad you still enjoyed Montréal, though. Maybe next time you come, we can have a drink together somewhere.
Oh, did you go eat at Les Jardins Nelson or not? I wanna hear all about Montréal! lol
I had a great time in Montreal, and I wish we had had more time there. We will definitely be coming back sometime in the (hopefully) near future (Hubby thinks he could do some photo series and write the trip off at tax time), so we should hook up for a drink. It would be fun!
We did eat at Les Jardins Nelson! It was such a great restaurant, and from what I could tell the food was really good. All told I ate about 1/3 of my crepe, but that 1/3 was good. The hubby really enjoyed his, and his dessert crepe looked amazing! I didn't get to try the Sangria though, drinks were ordered while I was hiking my way to the bathroom (yes stairs are a hike when one can't breathe), so I was forced to share a bottle of wine. Poor me. :)
If you want to hear anymore about my time in the city let me know and I'll email you.
Glad you enjoy the concert too !
