So, what was eventually going to happen, happened.

My mother caught me smuggling a boy out of the house.

Don't get me wrong, I'm 25 years old and my mother knows that I am dating boys and she doesn't mind at all when we stay at home to watch a movie... ~~among other things.~~ But to be caught at 3:30 am trying to quietly say goodbye (or find reasons for him to stay, lol) isn't really, uh, fun. Let's just say that I wasn't really shoving him out of the house...

Luckily, he thought it was very funny and he was very cute about it... (called me before going to sleep), but if I wanted to keep this thing to myself, now it's practically impossible. Because of course my mother didn't mind telling my friend Miriam when she came to pick me up the next day. And Miriam sure didn't mind telling my other friends, lol.

*sighs*

And here we go.

January is the coldest month there is. The weather drops as low as -40C (which is also -40F). Right now, it's -32C (-25F), and I just don't want to get out of my bed and go to work, because it implies going outside.

So I was wondering how cold it is in your part of the world in January? Or how hot it is... I won't bite, my Aussie friends, I promise, lol.

YES! I just got my Uni schedule for this winter's semester! ONE STEP CLOSER TO GOING BACK TO CLASS!

Yes, I'm that happy to be going back, lol.

Soooo...

Monday: Adult Delinquency from 12pm to 3pm.
Tuesday: Psychology 2 from 12pm to 3pm, Law 1 from 3pm to 6pm
Wednesday: Youth Delinquency from 8am to 12pm
Thursday: OFF!!
Friday: Communication 1 from 8am to 12pm

All in all, I'm very happy. I have plenty of time to study and work, and maybe find some time to see my friends, ahah. Finishing early on Friday is a major plus, and the Thursday off makes me wanna dance with glee.

I changed my Journal, as you can see. But not for long... spoiled_andrea is ~~slaving~~ working on a header for me. If I ever figure out how to install it, bwah!

I'm off to IKEA!

ETA: My schedule changed a little, because there was another one available that was more appealing. I still have Thursdays off, but Law 1 moved to Tuesday pm and Youth Delinquency moved Wednesday am.</lj>

That's my car, in the parking lot at work, today at 3pm.




It took me half an hour to clean the car. Then when my shift was over at 5pm, it took me another 20 minutes to clean it again.

I HATE SNOW.

Other than that, my day was fine. Oh, but we did have a missing employee... who finally called 2 hours after the beginning of his shift to say that his alarm didn't go off and that he was sorry. Well, too bad kiddo, we've already found someone to cover for you.

Well, Santa didn't bring it to me, but to my sister-in-law. And technically, it's my brother who bought it. But whatever!

His name is Minus (French word for Tiny). He is a 7 weeks old Chihuahua, same breed as Mamzelle (French for Missy), their other dog.

He's so tiny, he fits in a shoe!!

And he's a bit shy, too... (that's my hand... Minus wasn't biting my fingers, for once! lol And the black dog is Mamzelle)

But he's sooooooooo pretty! (It's funny how you can't see my new hair cut on this pic... well, at least your can see some red highlights lol) ... and I look very much gone on this picture, lol.

So, yeah, Christmas was fun this year. I got pretty much what I wanted (a pillow, batteries, subscriptions to Time magazine and National Geographic magazine, a scarf). Now, if only the damn weather could stop being to freaking shitty! The roads are now covered with ice. But not like black ice, I'm talking 3 inches of ice. I'll try taking a couple of pictures tomorrow, to show you how bad it is.

I have the next 2 days off, and I'm gonna make good use of them. Sleep off the Tequila (which I'll never, ever drink again) from last night, and sleep off the Kamikazee and Midori and Vodka from tonight. Can the holidays be over, now?

I got all my marks back from the finals and I scored high everywhere and I'm freaking happy about that! *dances*

I'm off to watch some more Dexter ~~because Karim has run off with my copy of Prison Break S.4 episode 1 to 16.~~

It's 9:55 am and it smells so good in my house, that I didn't even need my alarm clock to wake me.
Which means I have a little time before rushing into the shower and getting dressed for work.
Yes, I'm working all day, until 9 pm, and hopefully I can manage to finish before that.
And then I have to take the bus to my Dad's, because the weather is a bitch, and we're better safe than sorry, right?
So I'm gonna use these few minutes to wish you all a very, merry little Christmas!
It's been a pleasure getting to know you this year, sharing PB stuff, but also RL stuff.
You've all been pretty good entertainment (for lack of better word...), and have proved to be great supporters in time of need.

I don't know if I can remain pissed at my brother right now, because I think he had a pretty good reason to forget my camera at home...

... he just proposed to his girlfriend! He did it in front of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, in NYC. The first plan was to propose at the top of the Empire State Building, but it was closed, lol. Apparently, he had a ring and everything. *sighs* My brother is a cutie, hehe. Oh, and his girlfriend said yes, lol.

I'm so happy for them!! They had a bumpy year (took some time apart, but things had gotten so much better!) and they totally deserve this little-big piece of happiness!

In other news, I've just finished watching Dexter S.1. I LOVED IT! I can't wait to get my hands on S.2. Maybe I'll go get it at work tomorrow, but we're expecting 11 inches (25-ish cm) of snow, so I might just stay home and ~~watch them illegally on then internet~~ sulk.

I'm still looking for the woman version of "womanizer", people, lol.

My exam Wednesday went good. I must admit that the fact that even if I failed the final exam I had the passing grade was very helpful. I mean, I studied like I would have had for any other exam, but since I'm a very stressed out person, it was a relief to know that I was safe no matter what happened ~~like a snow storm and being 15 minutes late.~~

I have another exam today at 11:30 am. It's an 'open book' exam that promises to be a bitch, and yet fun. If I am not mistaking, it's going to be a fake case about a guy who's about to get his parole, and we'll have analyze his file (his life outside and inside prison) and decide whether or not to give him his liberation. Exciting and complicated, LOL.

I'm off to get ready, now.

I'm watching the movie Taxi Driver, with Robert De Niro, and Oh, my God, anybody else ever realized how much Milo Ventimiglia looks like young Robert De Niro?

*breathes sigh of relief*

It is now 11:00 pm and I am happy to tell you that both my super long assignments are completed. One is due tomorrow morning, and is 41 pages long (I am not kidding). The assignment consisted in observing someone for 7 weeks, in order to gain as much information as possible, and to see how he/she interacts with other people, how he/she reacts under stressful situations, if he/she follow rules and laws, etc. I decided that for me, that person was going to be my mother, and boy, did I learned stuff, LOL. Of course about her, but also about myself. Anyway, it was very fun. The other assignment consisted of making a budget for one month, for a family living with a low income. It was also very interesting, because it teaches about the real cost of things. This one was a team assignment, and my part has been finished for about a week now, and my partner said he'd be done tomorrow night. It is not due before Wednesday, so I'm kind of proud of myself for having my part finished so much in advance, LOL.

I've just finished watching the movie "Wanted". WTF with this movie? It reminded me of the game "Assassin's Creed", which was actually fun, yet still extremely violent, but it was a game, you know? I guess that as I don't understand the need to make a movie like that... I'm mystified.

Saturday night I watched the movie called Gandhi, with Ben Kingsley and Martin Sheen. I had never seen it before and apparently that was considered as a sacrilege, lol. Well, I must admit that the movie was good, and that I have learned a lot of stuff about the man. I guess I knew who he was and a little about what he'd done, but not the reasons behind his actions, so it was very enlightening. *feels move clever now"

Two weeks of school left now. Well, 4 days of classes and 4 days of exams. My exams are well spaced, which means I'll have a lot of time to study and I won't feel overwhelmed by stress. Well, I will, because that's the way I am, but still, I'm happy.

So, how was Thanksgiving for those who celebrated it?

My pal spoiled_andrea is finally free from the Job from Hell, but she won't be online a lot, and I'm gonna miss her very, very much.

Prison Break is tomorrow night, and I am very excited about it. I know I say this all the time, but I am just so, so happy that my show is finally back. And yeah, I might have blown a fuse after last week's episode, but chatty_cat wrote this fic and it made me feel so much better :D. Oh, and I might have convinced poisonshades to write a fic about that missing scene, too. *dances*

I'm off to bed, because I have to be up in about 5 hours, bleh. Oh, and it's snowing. Like, big time.
